How SchoolSense handles information from students, parents and carers, and visitors to this website. A formal legal version will replace this summary in due course.

What this site collects
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, email address, an optional phone number and contact preference, the student’s year level and subjects, whether you’ve flagged international-student or learning-needs support, and whatever you write in the goals field. Nothing else is collected from visitors browsing the site.
How enquiries are used
Enquiry details are used to reply to you and arrange a consultation. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
Student information
Working with a student means holding information about their learning: diagnostic notes, marked work, learning plans, and progression reports. This information is kept because it is what makes the support work, and it is used for one purpose — teaching that student.
It is shared only with the parent or carer who engaged the service, and with the student’s school when you have asked for school liaison. It is never shared more widely without your consent.
Where information is stored
Enquiries, learning records, and reports are stored on Australian servers and on password-protected devices. Access is limited to the tutor delivering the service.
Retention and deletion
Learning records are kept while a student is engaged and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case support resumes or you need a copy of past reports. You can ask for a student’s records to be deleted at any time, and they will be.
Access and correction
You can ask to see anything held about your student, and to have it corrected if it’s wrong. Email the address below and you’ll get a response within a reasonable time.
Website analytics
This site uses privacy-preserving analytics to understand which pages families find useful. No personal information is collected from visitors to this site.
